With the Goats
Characters: Prim, open to anyone who has a ticket/buys a ticket
When: Friday late morning
Location: outside!
Warnings/Rating: None anticipated
Summary: Prim plays with goats
Status: Open, ongoing. Or narrative. Either way.
Even though she'd gotten the ticket from the machine days ago, it had taken her a little while to work up the nerve to use it. Eventually she'd reasoned that they had no idea how long they'd actually be here, and she wasn't sure if tickets carried into other realities. She could make pretty good arguments for both sides, so she figured better safe than sorry. She'd gotten one, and she wanted to go play with the goats. After she'd made her way to the observation car, Prim fiddled at the machine until she worked out how to turn her ticket into a token. From there, she figured out how to get outside. It was a little unsettling, but as she looked around from the top of the hill she'd landed on, she grinned a little. Dark blue eyes panned over the surroundings until she caught sight of the train in the distance. It was impressive, the size of it, even from this distance. She watched it for a moment, then tucked her token into her pocket. Turning a slow circle, a little smile crossed her lips. There was something kind of ... nice, being off the train when it wasn't stopped. She'd never done it before, even when the witches and angels and others could get off while it was moving. Crossing slowly through the field, Prim tipped her chin up toward the sun, dark blue eyes half-closing against the brightness of it. She appreciated the warmth, the natural smell of the place, but most of all ... the goats. She thought it was a real shame that she probably couldn't take one on board with her. Well, she was pretty sure she couldn't, anyway. Besides, it wouldn't be fair to the goat, to be trapped on the train and taken from its own reality. She did wonder if she was going to bump into anyone else out here, but she wasn't concerned either way. If she just spent a few hours petting the goats, that was all right by her. |
