Keeping the plants out of the infirmary was proving to be ... impossible. She and Simon and some of the others had tried, and Prim didn't think this particular event could end fast enough. While she'd caught on that the secret was to just not inhale the plant, sometimes that didn't work as well as she'd like. Earlier, she'd caught a whiff of some tulips, and had promptly sprouted some sort of insect wing on her back. Moving a geranium had given her mossy hands for five minutes, and after inhaling a chrysanthemum, she'd quite literally gone bug-eyed. Needless to say, she wasn't particularly impressed when she saw the ivy growing along the walls. Most everything else had been conveniently potted, but this looked like it was going to be an adventure and then some. Inhaling a deep breath, she tried to hold it as she scampered over to the wall to start pulling the ivy off. Unfortunately, this one appeared to be a touch-activated one, because she found herself wrapped in ... well, it wasn't ivy. It was some sort of prickly bramble, and Prim sighed as she glared at the ivy through the table of plant she'd become surrounded by. "This is your fault," she informed the plant on the wall. While she knew it would pass soon, it was remarkably irritating while it was happening. |
