His eyes went wide as she spoke, and his face broke into a warm smile.
"Really?" He'd suggested this himself months ago, but had quickly backed off when it became absolutely clear that she wasn't okay with it. But now...she was bringing it up herself. And that...was wonderful. "Yes - I mean, of course I do. You know how I feel about you, Emma. I'd love to."
He smiled and kissed her again, this time letting a bit of the desperation and desire he felt creep into his kiss.
"And I'm not afraid of Regina."
Okay, maybe that wasn't exactly true. But he was trying to get to the point he wasn't afraid of her, and he certainly wasn't afraid of her killing him.
