Characters: Mary Winchester and Open When: Saturday night Location: Front Dining Car Warnings/Rating: None Summary: Mary hates flying. Despite her anxiety, a girl's gotta eat. Status: Open, ongoing
Mary hated flying. Loathed it. There were people who could fly just fine but Mary was not one of them. She had spent most of her time in her room as she had no interest in looking out of the window. Eventually though, she realized there was only so long a person could ignore their growling stomach.
Mary slowly made her way to the front kitchen and made herself a small meal from what she could find in the contents of the fridge and pantry. Taking it into the dining car, she sat down and took a few deep breaths as she tried to keep the panic attack that was threatening to take over away. Closing her eyes, she clenched her hands into fists on either side of her plate. "I'm okay. I'm okay. I'm perfectly okay. I'm perfectly trapped in a train that thinks it's a bird and at any moment we are all going to plummet to our untimely deaths...." Mary chanted to herself. She knew she was being dramatic. She knew that her fear of flying was silly as flying is one of the safest modes of transportation but come on, flying in an airplane was one thing, flying in a train is completely different.
Opening her eyes, she picked up her fork and knife and started to eat, suddenly lacking an appetite.
