It didn’t take him long to locate the cafe in question on a map, and it took no more than a few moments to make the five block walk to the place. As he strode along purposefully, he tried to make sense of … everything. The teenagers warning him about vampires. The fact Bruce apparently thought he was several months in his past. The fact that Selina had apparently been and gone in a span of days. He wasn’t yet ready to get into the concept of being kidnapped by a train. He understood kidnapping, and he understood trains, but a train that kidnapped apparently of its own volition? That was new, and he wasn’t interested in examining it too closely just now. Once he arrived at the cafe, he looked around a moment before his eyes settled on Bruce, and he stepped in that direction. It was good to see him, and he smiled. “Master Wayne,” he greeted him brightly, though with the air of a man who hasn’t seen his charge in some time. Because for him … it had been some time. |
