Regina wasn't sure what Snow's answer would be when she had invited her to tea. She was pleasantly surprised that her stepdaughter had agreed. Before placing her phone back down she couldn't help but gage Snow's reaction to meeting her daughter. Emma Swan had stated on many an occasion how adamantly against being referred to as princess she was. She had no doubt that James would arrive with Snow and when Emma heard of the gathering she'd come as well. As much as Regina wished the blonde would stay away she did not trust her around anyone. For good reason but she was going to play the peace card for as long as possible. Making sure to grab her phone she left her room heading to the back kitchen. After making sandwiches and placing them on a plate she set about preparing the tea. While the water was boiling she carried the sandwiches and necessary condiments for tea to the parlor car setting them down on the table. Regina walked briskly back to the kitchen and grabbed four mugs balancing them in the crock of her arm while picking up the hot kettle. The tea bags to steep the tea had all ready been brought to the parlor car so she turned and walked back in that direction. After placing the tea kettle down she placed the mugs off to the side of the table. Once the tea was steeping she made one final trip to the kitchen to grab a couple of spoons and small plates before returning to the parlor. Sitting down on the couch she took a breath and relaxed into the cushions. Snow had said that she'd show up so now all that there was to do was wait. |
