While Snow might have been smiling as they entered the room, Charming was anything but. His shoulders were tense, and the look in his eyes was cautious, and watchful, obviously not trusting this woman they were visiting at all.
He had hated her even before they had arrived on the train, and the things that he had learned about her since he arrived had only intensified that feeling. This woman had let a grudge overwhelm her, and had let that grudge go until it hurt innocent people, and destroyed his family. It was because of her that he had not met his daughter until she was twenty-eight years old, and those were years he could never get back. There was no forgiving that could make up for what she had stolen from him.
He did not know what she hoped to accomplish with this meeting, but there was no question in his mind that he would be there to protect Snow, to support her, to be whatever she needed him to be.
Stepping into the room, he covered Snow's hand with his as they entered, his eyes seeking Regina's and filled with warning. If she hurt Snow, she would pay.
