Tara was pissed at the train. Like most everyone else she just wanted to be back home. Even with things as screwed up as they were back home it was better than being on a psychopathic train. She hadn't been on the train that long and she had all ready had enough. Other than Sookie and Jess she hadn't interacted with anyone. Hell, she hadn't even made an effort to meet her roommate. It was easier to sleep in empty cars during the day and avoid contact with all humans at night. Her Pam would have been proud at the restraint she had been showing, even if it was given followed by an insult. It was just the way things were between the two of them. The previous night she had heard the distinctive screaming of Ginger and felt the slightest calm come over her. There was one other person on board who knew that she had been turned and it was someone she knew quite well. Ginger could be annoying but the blonde had been all too willing to carry out her master plan that had gotten Pam arrested. She still couldn't believe that Pam had threatened to hurt the little demi - god if he laid a finger on her. It was the sign that the older vampire was not as much in denial as she had been in the beginning. With time she might even stake her claim over her and give her the guidance Tara secretly was seeking. Feeling the hunger come on she stormed out of the room she had been staying in and began the walk to the infirmary. While feeding from humans directly was more enticing, donor blood in a bag was at least better than drinking True Blood. As she walked into the infirmary she saw a familiar face sitting on one of the beds. What startled her was that the woman on the bed, which Tara knew to be the vampire sister of Eric, smelled entirely human. With her curiosity peaked she began to walk over to the seated woman to find out what was going on. |
