Summary: Maggie was updated over night and with what she saw went to go find Hal to find that he was sent home causing her to be left alone.
Status: Closed.

Maggie had left the room she shared with Hal once again the night before to go sit in one of the touring cars to watch the undersea world pass her by. The place was beautiful with being able to see things that normally a person couldn’t see or didn’t pay attention to. As the hours went on she thought about going back to wake Hal up, but she let him be as she just relaxed. No aliens, a friend was here, and for the most part she was safe so she should be happy. During the course of her thoughts she ended up falling asleep in the touring car. Flashes of memories started going through her head of things that hadn’t happen or of anything she remembered, but she felt like she was in the picture. The mechs shooting at the group, the skitters, the skitter rebellion, the overloads, the crawlies, the deaths of the group, Charleston, and everything else kept adding on as things kept showing up.

One thing that was shocking her more than anything was the fact she seemed to have something going on with Hal. Hal? Really? He was her partner, the person she trusted, and she trusted no one that she figured it had to be a big deal for what she kept seeing between them. The fact she shared with him a bit of her past that she kept locked up tight from people because she knew they would see her as a bad person like she saw herself. Then that bitch Karen having to get in the way at every turn. How she had Hal, Ben, Tom, Dr. Glass, Weaver, and her all tied up and was tasering a few of them for information. Maggie could handle the shock of electricity through her body, she was sure of it, but what Karen did to her was a whole lot worse in her mind. Karen kissed Hal right in front of Maggie who fought harder than anything to get free while screaming to let go of him as she watched the man she found herself in love with fall to the ground like passed out or something. Love? That was a joke to Maggie since she never loved anyone but she found herself feeling that way with Hal. That stupid smirk on Karen’s face made Maggie want to punch it off, but she couldn’t do much, especially when a black vine wrapped around her mouth to shut her up. Finally able to get back to the base, she with the help of Pope carried Hal down the tunnel just to end up hearing from Dr. Glass how they had to wait and see what happened because she found nothing wrong with Hal. Maggie failed her partner and she hated herself for causing him to be on that bed. Before waking up she also saw the group outside aiming their guns at a whole new batch of aliens who showed up and the one that landed in front of them showing everyone what he looked like.

Maggie woke up quickly, looking around to see that she was still on a train. “What the fuck?” She didn’t even take the moment to see the scene change as she glanced at her wrists to see that she had been tied up. No, no, none of that was real. She would go back to the room to find Hal all alive and probably ready to go play video games or something. Moving off the seat, she moved quickly down the hall to her room. The look of fear shifted over her face to see the name gone and when she opened the door she felt her heart break even more to see all his stuff gone. “Fucking train,” she felt the anger that she tried so hard to control rising as she knew he was sent back to their world, to the fight, and here she was alone again with no idea as to what was going on. Maybe it was all a dream, yeah that made sense. Maggie moved into the bathroom to look at herself in the mirror, noticing the blood on her face along with the cut on the side. “Please no,” she mumbled as she moved back to lift her shirt over her stomach to see the stitches from where the mech bullet had caused her to get hurt almost causing her to die if Hal hadn’t come back for her. A scream left her lips as she realized everything she just saw was true, including what Karen did. Without thinking she punched the mirror, ignoring the pain of the mirror going into her hand or the blood that slipped out as she moved against the wall.

Her thoughts went over everything she had seen about how Jimmy was dead, Boone, and so many more. Watching as Karen played Ben and Hal both before taunting her with how Maggie didn’t deserve Hal or how she probably felt more at home with Pope and his gang even when two of the members were raping her. Why the fuck couldn’t she go home? Why couldn’t she go back and kill Karen since it seemed that bitch was still walking around? Made her remember to avoid Cinderella for a bit since the girl looked like Karen and didn’t need to get hurt because of what Karen did. For a brief moment a smirk came over her lips as she remembered the group was still doing their favorite saying of tick, tick, boom or how she was able to use the big gun when they were doing a sneak attack on the aliens. That only caused all the bad thoughts to come rushing back to remember everything she just saw that she did the only thing she could think of, which was hit the wall hard. Maggie didn’t care about the damage she might have done to her hand since what was the point of caring? Here she was back to being all alone again. Pulling her knees up to her chest, she rested her head on her knee as she closed her eyes, hoping this was a bad nightmare and Hal was still here though she knew he was gone. She didn’t even want to stay in this room right now cause she felt alone once again. That was all she would ever be.....alone.
