Tara had been on the train one whole day and she wanted nothing more than to get off it. Her emotions were still on a high from the raid they had pulled off at the Authority. Just when she thought that she'd be able to basque in the glory of their victory she had appeared in a room on board a runaway train. She had seen some crazy shit in the past few years but this was placed almost near the top. While there were familiar faces on board there was no comfort. Every part of her still loathed Sookie for taking the actions that she had in convincing Pam to turn her. Despite enjoying the power she now had as a vampire that betrayal would always burn deep. The Sookie on board the train came from an entirely different universe than hers, of that she was sure. The idea of having twins was enough to make her laugh. Even the Eric on board was from the same screwed up world. She had no love for Bill. Where she came from he had gone so batshit crazy that all she wanted was for him to meet the true death. It was an unreasonable notion all things considered, but he had gone to far in orchestrating the destruction of mainstreaming. When she had walked through the train she noticed Jess' name on a door but chose to not knock. The red headed vampire had a tendency to be annoying and with her current attitude it was best to avoid her. What bothered her the most was that her Maker denied all existence of her. In a nutshell, Tara felt lost. She wasn't sure what to do without Pam's guidance, if you could call it that. Nonetheless, despite the cold and tough exterior Pam put on there was a tender side that she had gotten to see in rare moments. The freshest being the kiss they had shared when she pulled open the door to her cell and rushed at her. The one thing Tara knew was that she'd have to stay elsewhere because the smell of her roommate was too tempting. While she had great control, to be roomed with a human was adding fuel to the fire and she might snap at one point. She wandered the corridors of the train until she came to the last car. Using her vampire senses she determined that there was no one inside the car. The first time she opened the door a library was there and she shut the door. When she opened it the second time she expected the same to be in there but was surprised to find a room devoid of light and emitting a moldy smell. The smell was so bad that she closed it and when she opened it a third time it was gone. In its place was a bar that reminded her so much of Fangtasia. Leaving the door open she walked in and sat herself up on the bar. She'd been hoping for something that reminded her of home and whatever this car was, it had given it to her. |
