After seeing Bill's network post Sookie had begun to freak out - after she got over the initial shock, horror and pure vulgarity the train had embarked upon during its malfunction. In hindsight she was sure it would be hilarious, but before she got to that point she was more concerned that their proposed meeting would, at the very least, turn into some huge pissing contest and, at worst. an all out bloody war! She was fairly sure Eric wouldn't be too happy that she and Bill had come to some kind of uneasy truce either. However much her husband had wanted her to work with her ex to solve the murder on his lawn Sookie was almost certain he hadn't intended her to discuss their relationship with him. When they'd talked it had seemed so natural, but she also knew that Bill was capable of being a real S.O.B. when he wanted to, and there was no guarantee that he wouldn't use her words to hurt Eric, despite her being more than clear where her heart lay. They'd talked a whole lot, and try as she might she couldn't remember everything she'd told him. Then there'd been the post he'd made, asking for live blood donors. If Sookie had been unsure that Bill was different that had confirmed it. She knew that he occasionally partook, and had been on the donation end herself, once or twice, but as a rule he was a mainstreamer all the way. It was entirely out of character. At least, it was for the Bill she knew. It made her all the more worried that perhaps something she'd said might be used to hurt Eric - particularly if Bill decided to screw things up between them. After all, he'd declared himself, and been rebuffed. Soundly. When she heard the door open Sookie stopped pacing the room, and looked over to see Eric. As unreadable as ever, her brows knitted. "How'd it go?" she asked, and though she'd tried to make it sound casual it was clearly forced. "Did you get any kinda read on Bill? Just how wrong is he? And who in the hell is Lillith? and did you know that Tara was here?" Sookie paused and smiled apologetically, "sorry. I guess a lot seems to be going on." |
