After a round of spontaneous late afternoon sex, Lily had taken a shower and gone to dinner. She and Don had parted company around then; he had a book, a drink, and a couple of cigarettes that wanted his attention, and she was interested in finding some of her friends or a movie or ... something. She knew he'd be in the room later, and she was looking forward to seeing him then. What they had worked for them. Maybe no one else got it, but she was happy with it. Since she hadn't smiled much since she'd first been kidnapped on the train, she thought people would appreciate the change. And really, aside from the whole ... being on the train thing, she'd gotten most of her other issues sorted out. Her father had apologized, most of her family and friends were backing off about Don, and she felt ... peaceful. She had what she wanted, and she was pleased with the arrangement. After she'd made her way to the entertainment car and settled on a movie, she'd pulled her phone out. After catching up on the network, she thought about inviting some people to join her. She thought about trying Tris or Marvel before deciding she'd just leave it be and see who showed up and wanted to chat. Maybe Rose would be feeling better, or maybe her father would find her. She didn't much care, really. She was perfectly content to sit there and watch her movie and see who showed up.
