Her movements were careful as Charlotte moved through the train cars. There were plenty of interesting stops to make along the way and many had caught Charlotte's attention. She never lingered, though. The stop was brief as she took in the interior of the cars before moving along. She had paused for quite some time in the Observation car, stepping close to the large windows. The scenery outside was quite remarkable. A train traveling completely underwater. How brilliant! She pressed fingers against the window, the surface cool against her skin. Henry would absolutely love this and she felt a light tug in her stomach. She missed her darling husband, but was also worried that he was going to end up burning the entire Institute to the ground. That was truly the last thing she needed. Perhaps she needed to have more faith in him, but for the time being, Charlotte was alright to worry.
She passed through the touring car and then the library car. That would certainly require another visit, but that visit was not today. Charlotte had much to discuss with three individuals, though finding Tessa would be her first order of business.
Traveling through each sleeper car, Charlotte's fingers touched against each door as she glanced at the names. Reaching car twenty-three, Charlotte paused as she touched the door of room 502. James Carstairs and William Herondale. She stood there, staring at the names she knew far too well. She could have knocked. She could have announced herself and checked on them, but as she lifted a hand to knock on the door, Charlotte took a step back. She took another step and let out a sigh of relief when she found the proper door. Who was this Katniss Everdeen, though? She hoped she was a nice girl and hoped she was fairing with Tessa. Tessa was a dear girl and wasn't difficult to get along with. Charlotte was certain they would be alright.
With a gentle smile, Charlotte knocked on the door. "Tessa, dear? Tessa, it's Charlotte. I thought perhaps you may like a visit?"
