This world was getting on her last nerves since all she wanted to do was sit and stare out the window. Only that became a bit of an issue when the world that she saw out the window gave her a headache. She had bugged Logan the other night, but she wasn’t going to keep using him as her amusement when she couldn’t sleep or didn’t have a view to stare at. Trish knew she could go to the library and read, but she wasn’t in the right frame of mind to read. After finding her mother’s pearl necklace that had been left to Trish after her mother’s death in her room this morning, she had been a bit of a wreck. Trish didn’t think she would ever see this necklace again. The last time she had seen it was when she had taken it off to try on her wedding dress, but she left the necklace off because it didn’t go. Then everything went to hell causing her to run out of the cabin before running right into her death. Here the necklace was again in her hands and Trish couldn’t believe it. She had decided to go sit by the pool as her feet went into the water. The idea of going swimming had crossed her mind even changing until she saw her scar on her side that caused her to change her mind. Trish knew she wasn’t ugly, but that scar wasn’t something she enjoyed looking at. Instead she was sitting on the edge with her feet in the water as she looked at the pearl necklace in her hand. It was left to her because she used to hang out in her mother’s room trying to steal them that when she passed away she wanted Trish to have them. Part of her felt she should put them on, but another part of her was waiting for them to like vanish from her hand. |
