Things had been going well despite still being at odds with Henry. Other than a brief conversation, Emma Swan seemed to be staying out of her way. She'd like nothing more than to wake up one morning and discover that she was gone. But until such a day as that arose Regina would have to play her cards right. Her ruse of peace with Charming and Snow would go on until the proper moment when she could strike. First and foremost, she needed to ensure that Henry was safe from any of the backlash. From what she saw on the network she wasn't the only one constantly sickened by the displays of affection that Snow and Charming bestowed upon one another. It wouldn't be hard to find those willing to join her side if only to offer protection. A few weeks had passed since Emma had accused her of using others to carry out her attacks and those words still haunted her. She was determined to carry out her plans herself this time around. After changing and feeding Giuseppe, Regina decided to walk to the Parlor car. A quick look in the back parlor car which was occupied by a few people caused her to turn back around. She would never admit it out loud but Cinderella had been right. Singing softly to him served to lull him to sleep. The less who were around to witness such an act would be better. She had a reputation to uphold and all. There was no one in the front parlor car when she entered and immediately she looked down into Giuseppe's face. Their was the fairest hint of a smile on his features. If he had been a little older it most likely would have been a full blown smile. Adjusting him to be cradled in her arms she began softly humming a lullaby she remembered from her childhood all the while rocking him back and forth. She let her thoughts wander to the ideas she had, had of singing her and Daniel's child to sleep. If she thought hard enough she could imagine what their son or daughter would look like. Regina was so lost in her thoughts and humming that she failed to hear when someone entered into the room. |
