Who? John Watson & Emma Swan Where? The Infirmary When? Saturday, shortly after Charming is discharged. What? Catching up post-rescue. (!dice) Warnings? None.
They hadn't even been in motion for twenty-four hours yet, and already John knew that he and the other doctors were going to have their hands full. They were still dealing with the knock-on effect of Zombieland, he had acquired a new patient in young Elena, and now there were babies showing up on board- as soon as he'd realised, he'd kissed Sherlock goodbye and headed down to the infirmary without any indication of when he would return. No doubt his partner would get mopey later, bring him along a cup of tea and offer to 'help', which was basically their secret code for 'I miss you', these days.
It looked like Dr Tam had taken care of setting up something resembling a maternity ward, so John had tended to Charming instead of getting in anyone's way. He was just cleaning up- stripping off the sheets of what had been the Prince's bed, ready to wash before the next patient, and cleaning down the area around the bed. He was used to doing his own maintenance, so the lack of porters was hardly a new thing to him.
He didn't really look up as people walked through- it was a train carriage, after all, and people had to walk through it to get to other parts of the train (a nightmare for maintaining a sterile environment!) but he really did expect that he would have some more patients to attend to. Particularly small ones, no doubt.
