Babies!
Characters: Lily, open (or dice)
When: Saturday afternoon
Location: Baggage car
Warnings/Rating: None anticipated
Summary: Lily is excite for babies
Status: Open, ongoing
Lily was doing her best to stay out of the situation between her granddaughter and her son. She didn't approve of Don for Lily Luna, but at the same time, she recognized that everyone had to grow up their own way, and make their own set of mistakes. It would be better for Harry to leave it alone and let it play out however it was meant to, but in that same vein ... she had to let him make his own mistakes, too. She felt for her granddaughter, and she was a little appalled at the way it had all come out, on all sides. She understood why Lily had hidden it, and she could understand Harry's reaction. She didn't approve of that, either, and it was one of the reasons she was trying to steer clear of it. Like all things on the train, it would blow over eventually. She just ... had to wait for that. In the mean time, the train was keeping them significantly distracted. As far as she knew, no one had gotten an accurate count on how many babies were on board (she'd heard a dozen, and that wouldn't have surprised her, but she thought she'd heard more than that walking through the train). Simon and Alex and she assumed the other doctors were setting up the infirmary to accommodate them, and Lily was very interested in helping out. She imagined Severus planned to steer clear of them all, but Lily intended to spend as much time with them as possible. For once, the train had done something that wasn't complete despicable. Though on the flip side of that, if the babies had mothers that were missing them ... that wasn't right. There was nothing they could do about it, of course, but it still wasn't right. Standing on the curved lid of one of the treasure chests liberated from Tortuga, Lily searched the top shelf of the car for things suitable for babies. Everything from clothes to blankets to things they could make into beds ... they were going to need plenty of it. |
