Exercise had been a normal part of Harrison's routine for too many years to count along with the fact that he got up at seriously early hours. He'd gotten a lot of flack for that over the years. The getting up early part, not so much the working out part. Harrison did like to think that the early bird did indeed get the worm, and that early to bed and early to rise was a good motto to live by. Though he really hadn't been getting to bed all that early lately considering, but his internal clock was still hell bent on making sure he was up before the sun rose. Harrison had slipped from bed that morning, intent on going down to the gym car and working out for an hour or so before showering and then grabbing some food. Earlier in the week he'd gone to the baggage car and found a pair of shorts that would work nicely for a workout since nothing that he'd had packed with him would be that comfortable wearing. He'd burn up in his sweatpants if he wore them while trying to get in a good thirty minute run on the treadmill, and that wasn't something he really felt like doing. Pulling on his clothes, Harrison quickly jotted down a note for Simon in the event that he woke up without him there, and picking up the phone thing the train had given him, Harrison went out into the hallway. He made his way down the hallways, paying extra attention to where he was going so he didn't have an encounter like the last one he'd had. He still couldn't get over the fact that there was someone else out there in another place who looked like him. It boggled his mind, that was for sure, but then again there was so much weird shit that had gone on in his life at present it really shouldn't have surprised him. His brows rose at the sound of a baby crying somewhere, and he shook his head. That? That was also a weird thing that the train was doing, but he was glad that neither he nor Simon had been gifted a child. At least he could look on the bright side there. Finally he made his way into the gym car, letting out a long breath as he glanced around to decide what he should do first. He'd had a schedule that he kept when he'd been home, running four days a week, and the rest had been strength building or stretching when he felt the urge to do that. Instead of thinking too much, and possibly blocking the entry way, Harrison grabbed a towel from the rack beside the door and moved over to one of the weight lifting machines. He draped the towel over the bench, and put the device down out of the way and where it would hopefully not be stepped on. He was about ten minutes into his workout when the door opened up, and turning his attention towards it he gave a small jerk of his chin in greeting before he stated, "Good morning." To the person who'd entered. |
