Different coping methods.
Characters: Kaylee Frye and Meredith Grey.

Summary: Kaylee and Meredith possibly attempt to lighten up/get out the sad by partaking in light refreshments.
Status: Open, Semi Private
It wasn't smart to go wandering alone, but there were ways to get about without that happening, Kaylee had offered to do an evening patrol, not that she was the most likely to be able to help, or to fend off whoever or whatever was doing this - but she wasn't about to sit around either and just let this happen. Be able to say she did her best, made account of herself.
As her turn wandering the carriages came to an end Kaylee considered going to see Simon and River. She liked staying close by to them both, wondering even if she could possibly move closer, only be a couple of doors away rather than carriages between them, felt a distance to go when she hated to be alone right now. But Simon worried so on River and she wanted to be sure she wasn't taking too much of his time, wanted to be sure River'd be okay, and Simon was the one who could keep her closest to being okay. More so nothing seemed certain right now, people dying this killer, or killers unknown. If they all made it through, if the murders stopped, maybe then it would be safe to think about what to do next. Even if at the same time it kinda just made you want to grab the bull by the horns in case there wasn't a tomorrow. A confusing way to be, that's for sure.
Maybe she'd take them something to eat. A treat. Plus the kitchen was rarely empty- folks coming and going often enough it seemed. She found a familiar face there, well they'd never properly met, but she knew her picture just fine. "Hey Doctor Grey." she called out in greeting, finding her looking through the cupboards in search of something.
