It had only been a few days since the train had nabbed a few more passengers. It seemed that passengers came and went at the train's discretion. When Sookie and Eric disappeared her spirit had dropped the slightest. Now it was just her and Pam from their world. It had taken awhile but she had accepted the facts and begun to interact with others. When the train had decided to swap the powers of some of the passengers it had been nice to offer help to Trish and Abby. Despite being a baby she knew just enough about vampires to help them through their ordeal as long as it lasted. Now with that disaster in the past she found herself volunteering for supply runs and nightly killing sprees. Everything had settled or well as much as it could when one had spent the past month kidnapped by a train. Then suddenly Sookie appeared on the train again followed by Eric not long after. At first she was overjoyed for familiar faces to be around once again. But one short conversation with Eric had destroyed any hope that she had. Jess knew that when Pam needed her she would send her a message. The idea that Eric was under a spell while terrifying was better than the alternative. If he truly was speaking the truth than lord knows what they would do. Pam was the older and wiser vampire so hopefully she'd have some idea. Thoughts continued to float around in her head as she walked to the infirmary car. She barely acknowledged the presence of anyone as she moved through the train. Having grabbed the bag of donor blood she continued towards the front kitchen in the hopes of procuring a glass. It was much easier to drink the blood from a glass than straight from the bag. As she wasn't desperately hungry she could take the time to look civilized while drinking. As she passed by one of the doors on the train she read a name that caused her to stop immediately. The name Bill Compton was on the door. While joyous that she'd finally have her Maker around to help guide her she was also wary. What if he was suffering from the same problem as Eric? The last thing she needed was to have her Maker unsure of who she was. It was then that she looked at the bag of blood in her hands. Back in Bon Temps, Bill had been vehemently against her drinking the blood of humans and had forced True Blood on her. Hugging the bag of blood to her chest she turn and at vamp speed ran to the back kitchen to grab a glass. The closer she was to her room the better. After procuring a glass she walked into the dining car and sat at a table in the back corner. |
