Characters: Alex Russo & Dr. John Watson
When: Sunday evening
Location: Chance Car
Warnings: None that I can think of.
Summary: Looking for something to eat, Alex gets sidetracked, enter Dr. Watson, on an unknown mission.
Status: Private, ongoing.
Alex was still wandering the train aimlessly. Exploring was about all there was to do since there weren't really televisions and being on a moon called Pandora had been interesting to watch pass the window for a little while but who was she kidding? She needed something to do. So she had set off away from her sleeping compartment, not bothering to make her bed or pick up the blanket from the floor where it fell when she got up.
"Sleeper car, sleeper car," she mumbled, trailing one hand against the wall as she walked through car #14 because she still hadn't gotten her "sea legs" yet and falling on her bottom twice already was enough for her. When she reached the end of the car, she pulled open the door to the next and nearly fell backward anyway from the sheer brightness of the light that blasted out at her. The lights were so bright she put her hand up to her eyes until they focused and she realized she was looking at what seemed to be a bright, blinking casino.
"Now that isn't weird," she deadpanned and let the door slide shut. "Although, that could be more fun than hanging around in here."
Alex pulled the door open again and blinked. The casino was gone and in its place was an empty bedroom. It looked like a little girl's bedroom with cutesy unicorns and rainbows all over the walls. Tiny shoes lined one wall and Sesame Street songs were playing on an old boombox in the corner.
"Yuck, no," she said and let go of the door as if it had burned her. Where had the casino gone? Who's room was that she'd just seen?
Curiously, Alex opened the door a third time. This time she saw massive aquariums lining both walls. They were filled with strange looking fish, some of which were bioluminescent. She gazed in at the alien fish for a long moment before she'd seen as much of it as she cared to see then let the door shut again. This was amusing. She began opening the door, glancing in, shutting it, then starting over with. She got a 70s clothing store, something that looked like the cantina from Star Wars, a sepulchral cave-like prison, a lavishly furnitured sitting room, and on and on until she was laughing.
"Justin would hate this. I have to figure out this spell so I can do it to his bedroom door!"
