Who: Rogue & Rose Weasley What: Working on Rogue's mutation When: Before the train stopped in zombie land. Where: Rose's room Warnings: Probably none, will update as necessary Status: Closed/Ongoing
She knew, as she walked to Rose's room, that she shouldn't get her hopes up. There was no guarantee that Rose's magic would work on her mutation or, even if it did, how successful it would be. She really wished that Professor Xavier was on the train, if only to have the chance to have him help her. They'd started to make some headway, but then everything with Jean happened and she just didn't trust herself after the Professor died. Even Bethany, who'd been a friend too, would have been better than this. Rogue wore her elbow-length gloves beneath a long sleeved shirt and then she had jeans, high socks, and sneakers. She was as covered up as she could be without a turtleneck.
Approaching Rose's door, she reminded herself that she could do this. She could try and take the risk because the reward would be...well, there weren't really words to describe how much she desperately wanted this to work. Rogue took a deep breath and knocked on Rose's door, before she could change her mind. She wasn't going to let her fear stop her from even doing this and maybe it was in part because Logan had suggested she try this and she didn't want to disappoint him, but did the motivations really matter? All that mattered was that she was doing it.
