Nick had been in the observation car when he saw the network message from Juliette. The minute he read it, he was smiling and responded right away. He had a feeling that she might want him for something because she usually did when she asked what he was up to. Not that he minded, ever. Especially right now because anything was better than sitting there and staring out at cow world. One person could only take so many cows for so long before it drove them crazy or they started making up stupid reasons as to why there are a ton of cows and no people around. He kept commenting back and forth with Juliette before he finally just got up and started making his way to the rear kitchen. Why should they keep on taking over the network they could talk face to face? Face to face was a lot better than some little screen. This time, though, when he walked through the train he paid a lot more attention to where he was going. He didn’t want to run smack into anybody like he had the other day. He replied one last time before put the phone away and made his way into the kitchen. “Well, hello there. Long time no talk,” he jokingly said as he made his way over to Juliette. “I got tired of talking over the network. I would rather talk to you in person.” |
