Who: Glinda Upland and Harley Quinn
When: Tuesday Morning
Where: Parlor Car; Car #18
What: Slightly disheveled, a certain "good" witch decides to take a look around and find assistance in using the electronics waiting for her in her sleeper car.
Status: Open Closed; In-Progress
The scenery change hadn't phased her, nor had the feeling of being on a train. The rolling hills and quaint country feel of the outside had been quite the same as the scenery she had been watching on her way to the Emerald City. She remembered she had tried so very hard to chatter about with Elphie. Glinda had wanted to discuss what sort of shops and boutiques they could come across once they arrived, but Elphaba, as per usual, seemed far more interested in her meeting with the wizard. Always work! Always so studious. At times, it had made Galinda jealous. She was smart. She had talent, but her talents would never surpass Elphaba's. Or, at least, that was what she thought.
Moments before she had arrived on the mystery train, Glinda had nodded off. Using the sharp shoulder of her dear friend as pillow, she suddenly found herself with a face full of soft, red material. This was not the seat that she and Elphaba had been seated upon, and that certainly was not her friend's shoulder. Hands planted firmly on the sofa cushion, she pushed herself up and huffed a few stray pieces of curled, blonde hair from her face. "...Elphie?" She was answered with silence and an empty room. Had they had a sleeper car? No, that wasn't possible. The trip was long, but certainly not long enough to need a room to rest.
The room was quite nice and the bed, as she pressed her hand against it, was soft. There was another one, though it appeared unused as did the entirety of the room. Giving a few glances over her shoulders, Glinda flopped down on the bed she had tested. Still graceful, she gave a few bounces before settling with a grin. It was only then that the pad caught her attention with it's flashing message. What was a Nashville and why were they traveling there? 2014? That was quite a large number. Tapping against the smooth surface, Glinda gave a frown when she got no response from it. It wasn't like anything she had ever seen, and it certainly wasn't a mirror...sadly.
With the device tucked carefully under her arm, she opened the door of the room. Glancing down either end of the hallway, she made her way in the direction of the Parlor car. Surely someone would be there to assist her, right? With a bit of fuss with her hair and a particularly annoying pleat in her very pink dress, Glinda managed to get the door open to the Parlor car. There was no real cause for her to stumble into the car, but she had and nearly dropped the pad device as well. Letting out a small huff, she took in a deep breath and cleared her throat. Standing tall, or as tall as she physically could even in the fashionable pink heels that she wore, she waited. Quite use to gaining instant attention back at Shiz, she opened one eye when the sound of people gathering didn't immediately follow her own entrance. Well, this wouldn't do. She needed help and she wanted answers!
"Excuse me! Pardon me, but could someone be so kind as to help me, please?"
