Emma felt sick to her stomach for so many reasons and her emotions were bouncing back and forth between sadness and anger. She couldn’t be on a train. No, she had to be at the hospital! Emma wanted to say goodbye to her son, tell him she loved him, and just see him one more time before he was taken away like everyone else. Graham was the first person she wanted to let in from the town just for him to be taken from her, August was another one, and now Henry. Who else was she going to have to lose? When she saw the message from Graham it was like everything around her had stopped. The man was dead, she had been in the room when he went down, and she blamed herself for it all. Emma figured because she allowed herself to let him get close was the reason only he was telling her something different. Between realizing he was alive or at least alive while on this train that wasn’t a normal train. It couldn’t be a normal one when a dead man was alive on it, right? She was scared to see him again because she wasn’t sure if she could handle that with knowing she would lose him again at some point. Only thing taking her mind off of that was dealing with Regina who didn’t seem to have any idea what Emma was going on about. How was that possible? As she wrote what Regina did to Henry, she could feel the tears wanting to come, but she held them back because she had to be stronger than that. Emma ran her fingers through her blonde hair, fighting the urge to throw something across the room as she waited for Graham or the huntsman as he wanted to be called to show up at her door. Was he going to be the same guy she remembered? Or was he going to be different? Emma really had no idea, but she could handle it since all she wanted was to see him again. |
