Summary: Juliette's a little bummed out that someone she knew has been sent back home so trying to find a book to keep her busy instead.
Status: Open and ongoing.
Juliette was becoming restless the longer she was on the train. The fact she was stuck on a train and unable to do the things she enjoyed doing like going shopping, curling up on her couch at home with Nick to watch TV, working, or any of the other things she did throughout her day. This train really had to stop more often so she could get off this stupid thing and have some fun. Then again from the places that she had been told about, she doubt when this train finally stopped it would be anywhere she wanted to be. The resort had been nice only she heard that wasn’t a normal type of stop causing her to go on edge about what the next stop might be. Other than the fact, she was going stir crazy without her normal activities to keep her busy, she had to admit the train thing wasn’t all that bad. She had two people from her world along for the ride and she had made a friend while on the train. Juliette felt the whole thing could be a lot worse like she could be all alone like she had been at first or she could be back home in a coma, but she was awake still. That had to count for something, right? Heading down the train, she wanted to check on Donna since she hadn’t heard from the woman as of late to make sure she was okay. Donna had been someone that Juliette enjoyed chatting with even when they first met because they shared a room. The two were close in age and acted it, which was a plus in her eyes. Only she found Donna’s name wasn’t on any of the doors causing Juliette to sigh slightly. So much for having a girl’s meal or something. Part of her was happy that Donna was sent home if that was what she wanted, but Juliette was a little upset that she was gone. Giving up on that idea, she went to the library car with a new mission to find some book to keep her busy for a while. Entering the car, she picked a random spot to start with as she glanced at the titles to see if anything jumped out at her. Some of the titles she saw were books she already read, making notes of ones that she might read again along with ones she hadn’t read yet in case she found nothing that pulled her out of this bummed mood. |
