After the disaster of breaking down in front of Hoyt, Jessica ran from Merlottes and back to Bill's. After a few hours of crying and throwing furniture around she decided to go to ground early. When she awoke the next day immediately she could tell that something wasn't right. Instead of the cubby in the ground of Bill's house she found herself sitting up in a bed. At first she thought that Bill had returned in the evening and upon waking early moved her to one of the rooms upstairs. Upon further inspection of the room Jess realized that the room was unlike any in Bill's house and fear began to creep in.
Despite the fact that she was a vampire the frightened teenage girl within broke through and blood tears began to run down her face. After minutes of sobbing the knowledge that she was a vampire and could be stronger than a sobbing teenage girl returned. Taking a few calming breathes she attempted to do something that she had not truly tried before, connect with Bill through their bond. She hoped that she'd be able to feel him and have him rush to her side or at least let her know what was going on. When she received not the slightest of responses she kept trying until she realized that something must be terribly wrong. What little she knew, was that if he had met the true death she would have felt their bond breaking, as a result she concluded that she was just doing something wrong. Jess grew more and more frustrated as she couldn't connect with Bill and figure out what the hell was going on.
Tapping in to her keen senses she scanned her surroundings again and looked down at what she was wearing. Her final conclusion, as she pulled her legs up to her chest, was that wherever she was it was a long way from Bon Temps and everything that she knew. She only hoped that eventually Bill would come for her, but in the meantime she'd just have to deal with the situation one step at a time. The first step being to venture outside of the room and deal with things as they happened.
