Jaime pressed the back of her hand briefly to her mouth as he jumped on the stone. Repeatedly. She guessed that was as good a test as any, and the devious part of her was sorely tempted to undo the spell as he was jumping -- but she didn't. She couldn't really afford to make ... well, maybe not enemies, but un-friends, at any rate.
"Um." Jaime's lips parted before she closed her mouth, her brow briefly furrowing. "Yeah. I mean, technically ... yeah. I could turn you right into a statue if I wanted to. It's just ... um. Generally speaking, sort of frowned upon in our world. And ... any world, I'd hope. Except maybe a world of golems or something."
Her lips pursed, and she grinned. "Could turn you into a ferret or something." She hadn't been there for that, but boy had word gotten around about Moody who wasn't Moody turning Malfoy into a ferret. It was somewhat less amusing when it came out that the imposter had been a Death Eater, but the idea of Malfoy as a ferret ...
Flicking her wand behind herself, she colored the water of the other pool a bright pink. That, of course, could be explained away as a sudden release of dye, and wasn't nearly as impressive as a stone-filled pool.
