When Juliette had gone to bed the night before everything was going pretty well for the most part in her life. The whole kidnapping train was a little crazy, but she wasn’t in a coma or anything. Now she had things back to their old ways of sharing a room with Nick and knowing he was by her side to protect her from anything that might come her way. Juliette was going to miss the resort and this new place gave her the creeps with the lack of color only she figured she would deal with that in the morning. Nick and her were work on their issues, but she wasn’t going to find another room just because they were still dealing with everything. No way. Even more so when she had grown accustomed to sharing a bed with Nick to the point of not being able to sleep much without him by her side. Even with a train that could end up screwing with her if what people said was true, she was happy for the time being. Juliette had thought good things way too soon. In the morning, she opened her eyes as a confused look came upon her face. This wasn’t her apartment that she shared with her best friend so where was she? Slowly she moved to sit up when she caught sight of some other person in the bed with her. Juliette glanced over to see it was a strange man and quickly she had to cover her mouth before she screamed. No point in waking the man up when she could sneak away without him even knowing she was here or that was the plan anyways. No more going out with her friend or doing whatever they did that caused her to not remember this guy or what they did. Slipping out of the bed, she found her pants and shirt before moving to grab her purse as she hit her foot on something hard. “Damn it!” She mumbled. The issue of not knowing where she was hadn’t crossed her mind yet because she was more determined to leave this room before he woke up or anything. How awkward would the morning after be when she couldn’t even remember his name? |
