Like Cato, Glimmer was incredibly suspect of this 'resort'. After all the other shit the train had pulled--the tracker jackers, the singing, taking away people's strengths--it seemed way too nice to be totally innocent. Even if it was something the train had been forced to do, she didn't trust that it wouldn't find some new way to mess with them. Which was why, for the most part, she'd been keeping to their room

Still, it was nice to have a gym that was guaranteed to be there without having to open a door a couple dozen times. She was there now, working on punches and high kicks as distraction from all the other stuff going through her head.

Like the fact that she sort of wished this wasn't (probably) a trick and that she and Cato could stay somewhere like this without waiting for the other shoe to drop. Or that she'd actually been thinking about sometimes joining in on some of the things Jamie and Maryanne and the others had been talking about on the network, even if they sounded kind of stupid and pointless, because sometimes her training was seeming sort of pointless now and she really didn't like that feeling or most of the others that had come along after her talk with Trish.

That was another problem with being stopped at a place like this. Until something did happen, she had way too much time to think about things. At least beating the crap out of something made that stop...for a little while.
