John was glad he wasn't taking a drink at the time or the spit-take would have been epic. He still managed a slightly strangled chuckle in response to her question and then shook his head. "No. I didn't say that," he said, grinning.
"I'm just not sure that any of the ones in Pegasus were made from what they're made from on Earth." He shrugged. "On Earth. . .well, that's a different story." The smile turned genuine. "Although, I'm betting there were a lot of people we met who had the technology to make fake boobs. . .if they weren't busy being wiped out by the Wraith."
Half the things that now popped into his head while looking at her were veering dangerously off into the territory of not appropriate and it was around the time that he thought that she probably WASN'T silicon based was about the time John quickly shook his head and was vaguely relieved that she'd changed the subject.
"Not so much pirate costumes, but yeah," John said after a moment. "Let's just say we've done more than a few. . .untoward things in our time in order to survive."
The lake was coming into view now and it looked to be fairly deserted, which struck him as odd because he figured it would be packed with people. Or maybe he was just too used to things being off that he assumed something must be.
