Where most people were freaking out about the whole being stuck in dino land, Maggie was hoping to be moving soon but wasn’t freaking out like most. To her this wasn’t a big deal considering what she had been dealing with back in her world. Yes, different species, but aliens didn’t play nice just like some of the dinosaurs wouldn’t. The whole thing felt like old times with people keeping watch, people afraid to sleep, and the fear that something could happen at any moment. Only difference was she didn’t have Hal, Tom, or the other ones in the group to keep her company. Even the asshole Pope would have been fine, but she knew he wasn’t happy with her for killing his best friend and his brother. Unable to sleep even though that was nothing new, thanks to the whole alien attack back in her world she decided to put her odd sleeping hours to use. Maggie pulled her blonde hair up in a ponytail after changing into clothes that she felt more comfortable in, which was her tank top, jeans, and her boots that she showed up in. Too hot for her leather jacket caused her to leave it off. Before leaving her room, she made sure her switch blade was in her pocket for a mode of protection and then put on her double shoulder rig with her two smaller guns. Never could be too prepared when dealing with aliens and she was sure the saying went for dinosaurs as well. As she moved to leave the room, she grabbed her Colt Model 733 to head on outside. The bullets for all her guns were in her room, but she knew she still had enough in the guns. Entering the outside, she rolled her shoulders as she took in the sights of just plain darkness, but she could hear quite well. Hiding from aliens and listening for sounds of them caused a person ready for anything. The quiet was nice and made it easier to listen for any types of noises of something coming their way. Though her attention wasn’t focused on the train causing her not to think much about how someone might come out for whatever reason. For her, she came out to help along with give herself something to do instead of sitting wide awake in one of the cars. |
