Status: Plot! ongoing!
Marian was reaching the end of her rope, the end of her patience, and was on the verge of screaming bloody murder. And every obscenity she knew, and had learned since coming onto the train. Taking a deep slow breath she tried to calm that annoying twitch that made her eye lid jump. Counting to ten she drew back her last arrow, sighting down the shaft, at the very center of the target, she let it go, and it swung wide right and hit the wall, with about twenty others. "Bloody Fucking hell!" She screamed into the target filled room. The door was propped open, but now she wished it wasn't. There was no doubt that her curse of frustration was heard clear down the hall. She was more than a little angry. At herself, at the train, because it was obviously what was causing her distress. She plucked every blade she had on her and began hurling it down the path, and not a single one hit the target. You would swear she was a novice! "Having a great laugh about all this, are you? Well... I hope each point hurt, because you are damned frustrating!" She growled throwing down both bow and empty quiver. Of course she was confronting the train. Marian had no power to lose, so it had to take the one thing she was good at. Perhaps she wasn't as good as Robin, but at least she could aim and make the arrow go where she wanted it to go. At this rate she wouldn't be able to hit the broad side of a bloody barn! She only hoped there would be little need for her to actually hit someone with an arrow. That knocking one and sighting it at a person would give them pause. In a grump she sat down firmly on the ground. Not quite caring if it was a touch childish. |
