Who: Tosh and Zuko What: Random meeting (!dice) Where: Parlor car #9 When: Tuesday evening
Unlike many people, Tosh wasn't terribly thrown by this 'crazy train'. Of course, she had been shocked to find herself somewhere besides the streets of Cardiff. But after that wore off, she was just grateful that she'd been thrown some place relatively hospitable. And at least Jack was here, even if they weren't from the same timeline. That would take a bit of getting used to--it was one thing to house visitors from the 1940s, and another to be out of synch with a dear friend. But they'd catch up and things would be as fine as they could be.
Which was why she wasn't brooding on the whole matter too much, or the very real possibilites of what could happen to a Torchwood agent in a two year time span. Or, for that matter, the real fact that she was apparently expected to share a room with a man she didn't know. That...made her a little uncomfortable, to be honest, but also sort of curiously excited. After all, it wasn't often she'd gotten to room with someone she didn't know. Not before Torchwood, and certainly not after. Even if it (very likely) led to nothing, it would be nice to share a space that was hers with someone, instead of just camping out for days on end in the Hub.
But right now, she was doing her best not to think about that. She was familiarizing herself with the reader that had been waiting on her arrival. Not that different from tablets she was familiar with back home, though she figured she'd probably stick to her laptop for the most part. She wasn't terribly comfortable with touchscreens, preferring the feedback she could both see and feel on a proper keyboard, but she supposed in a pinch--
It took a second for her to realise two things: 1. That she was in a new car and not in the hallway, and 2. That there was someone else there. Licking her lower lip slightly, she put her arm down so the device was at her side and spoke very softly and cautiously.
"Um, hello. Sorry, hope I wasn't interrupting something."
