Anna supposed even though she would've liked to know why this man's group had chosen to follow them out of all the other people who'd arrived on the island, but then again, the correct answer was probably why not. Sighing, she came around and tapped him on the forehead. He slumped forward and Anna shrugged. "He should be out for the next few hours," she said. "If they'd wanted to compliment us, they could've come up with a couple better ways."
Compliment was of course, a loose term and better than any of the alternatives. When the shop keeper returned from the back and saw the three sleeping men on his floor, she looked up calmly and shook her head. "They had too much to drink."
