Characters: Robin and Marian When: Night Where: The Dining Car Summary: Candlelight, romantic dinner, wasps? Warnings: Possibly disturbing hallucinations Status: Closed, ongoing
Robin had wanted Marian to have a nice, quiet, evening after what she had been through with the birds. He was hoping that dinner, with just the two of them, would make that possible. So far, that had been exactly what had happened. They had had the opportunity to talk more simply and openly than they had in a while. Back home, something as simple as spending an evening together in the open had been impossible. It made a nice change.
They'd finished eating now, and Robin was holding one of Marian's hands in his, resting on the small table between them. "I think if anyone asked me the last time we had dinner together like this before the train, I could not tell them," he told her with a smile.
