Something Amiss-ing
Characters: Lily, Sev
When: Wednesday after dinner
Location: his room.
Warnings/Rating: None anticipated
Summary: Lily notices missing things and is curious
Status: Complete
Lily had had an idea of what was going on, and what she could be afflicted by, and she was just glad she'd been alone when it had struck. She couldn't imagine how utterly embarrassing it would have been if she'd thrown herself at Sirius or ... someone else entirely. But she'd taken care of it, and the sensation had passed, and after a slightly cooler than usual shower, she'd been able to head out to make dinner and act normally. Still, it had been unsettling, and she thought she'd stop in to talk to Severus. She was aware of his roommate (and equally aware that said roommate was staying elsewhere) so she reasoned there wouldn't be anyone in but him. If he was even in, but she couldn't imagine where else he would venture off to. Perhaps the baggage car, or the infirmary, or ... maybe looking for her in one of the kitchens. Either way, she made her way into his room. Whether or not he was present, Lily moved to the potion trunk they were keeping in his room. She had no real intention in mind, but she was inclined to see if she could think up something to brew, or if he had something he wanted to teach her. In the process of it though, she noticed a few things missing. It took her a moment, but she worked out a few potions that used those ingredients that she knew of. One of them, she reasoned, she could start taking again. Not that she anticipated needing any sort of contraceptive on board, but ... she might. She also figured it was probably for Jaime or one of the other witches. The idea that it might have been for her granddaughter didn't even cross her mind. Setting those thoughts aside, Lily continued to rifle through the other ingredients, wishing the damn thing had come with a few books. Though she supposed the ingredients themselves were nice enough. |
