Characters: Gemma Masters and Open
Location: Observation Car; Car #12
Time: Wednesday Afternoon
Warnings/Ratings: Most likely none.
Summary: Gemma decides to see what this mysterious train is all about and has a run in with the lovely Trailing pheromone.
Status: Open and ongoing
She had planned to only spend a few minutes in each car. There wasn't much time needed to thoroughly examine every nook and cranny to her liking. It was helpful to have a very simple and harmless spell on hand that would highlight anything out of the ordinary. Oddly enough, it didn't highlight the entire train. Considering the means of how she, and others, had arrived, the train could have been considered odd. She hadn't found much during her trip between her sleeper car and the observation car, but it wasn't surprising. What she would have liked to have found was a particular British uncle that, while she had spoken with over the network, hadn't physically come face to face with. No matter. She was sure she would find him eventually.
Reaching the Observation car, Gemma stood for a moment taking in the sight of the endless miles of sand and the pyramids that peppered the sands. It was quite a sight to take in when you were seeing it for the first time. After a moment, she took a few steps to the left and began to slowly walk a rather particular line. Her attention had dropped to the floor, concentrating on an invisible line that wasn't quite there, but to Gemma, it was glaringly obvious.
Carefully, she walked, passing the large windows, the door, and the seats. She never paused, never slowed her pace, and never paid much attention to the sand and hot sunlight that poured into the large glass window panes. She had lost track of time, but didn't seem to care that nearly two hours had gone by. There were very faint markings from the heavy soles of her boots on the floor and there were a few trails of sweat running along her temple and forehead. They were in the midst of the desert after all. It was hot.
