Embry wrapped her arms around Fenrir's neck and clung on for dear life. She knew she needed to protect herself but she couldn't leave Sirius. She'd be lost without him. Every time in her life, she always chose to back down. To back down and to give in and she was not doing either. Besides, she knew if she let this continue and after Fenrir was done? She'd be dead anyway so it made sense to fight.
"AWAY FROM HIM!" She screamed in a hoarse voice. She didn't have her wand on her because it fell in her attack so all she could hope for was to pull Fenrir back and hope Sirius wasn't hurt bad enough to not get up and shoot him with some magic. But Fenrir was hard to hold on to as he bucked almost like a bull. Embry found herself slammed up against a tree to try to get her off of him but she clung to him as much as she could, her good hand matted in the fur he grew.
In the distance she saw a woman running toward them.
"NO! STAY AWAY!" She screamed in desperation. "SIRIUS! KEEP HER A-" Embry was thrown from him and hit the ground. She raised herself on her elbows and looked up to see him growling at the woman and going for Sirius again. At that point she didn't care whether he was up or not. She was hit with some strength, or stupidity, so hard that she forced herself to stand by putting pressure on her broken wrist, not even flinching. She grabbed her wand a few feet away on the ground and threw out a spell which knocked Fenrir to his front.
She took off running to Sirius and the woman but Fenrir recovered quicker than she expected, or maybe she hadn't hit him as strong as she thought herself able to do and she was grabbed. She instantly turned to fight him and was aware that she was not the only one in the struggle, hearing spells thrown out from around her but in her panic, she felt that she was alone. Fenrir smack Embry away from him, his long, sharp nails slicing her collar bone as she fell, slamming the side of her head on the edge of her parents tombstone and she laid unmoving as blood spilled out from the side of her head.
Fenrir grabbed Sirius by his throat and sniffed the air, his eyes bright with blood lust. "You smell that dog?" He asked in a deep growl. "The blood..." He laughed. "Now you get to watch as I rip her apart and then you." Feeling the woman finally getting to him, he was too consumed by the beast to think properly and he backhanded her to the ground, turning to the unconscious girl with every intention on making good on his throat, going for the kill which was his teeth in her throat and as he attacked, no longer paying mind to the woman behind him. He wanted nothing more than to kill the two in front of him.
