Embry had to place her fork down to cover her mouth as a soft laugh barked out. Something she had grown used to because Will was someone who always had her laughing. She could be in the foulest mood known to man and all he had to do was give her a silly look and she'd be on the verge of tears. He was a evil... evil man. "I wouldn't say dined and ditched," Embry began once she got control of her amusement. "Just making your heart grow fonder, you have heard of the saying haven't you? About absence?" She grinned but then pouted. "I even burned my finger making it for you, kiss it?" She held up her hand and smiled when the gesture was received.
She turned back to her fruit which was really a godsend, grant you she could almost foresee the path this was creating. A path of future heart burn but she couldn't care. As long as it took care of the problem at hand which it was. She was already beginning to feel more like herself. She didn't know if she was handling the morning sickness well or not, all she knew was when it first started she was craving orange juice, she couldn't get enough of it and that began to help so she just stuck with a diet of citrus for when she felt off.
She stopped though when he asked if she was doing okay and she stared down at the food for a moment before nodding rather quickly, a smile appearing on her lips. "Of course I'm okay. I'm fine." He was mistaken then? "How you mean?" He heard her being sick. "Oh that... I guess I ate too much or something." She hoped it was left at that but he stood up and felt her head for fever, of course there was none and the stroking was all too comforting. All she wanted was to spill everything but she was terrified, they weren't in any situation for this!
"I was thinking," Embry said rather quickly, picking up her plate and standing away from his touch. She busied herself by disposing the leftover food and took it to the sink. "I was thinking that if you had off perhaps we could go into town and get some items... Well... nothing in particular, just want to get away from the cabin some more, that's all."
But she could feel it, his eyes on her and she felt miserable. She turned off the water and kept her back facing him as her eyes closed. A deep breath was taken and slowly released, her mouth instantly went dry and the sickness was back but this wasn't morning sickness, it was nerves. She knew that because she ended up dropping the plate she held, back into the sink due to her hands shaking. She was suddenly lost.
She tried not to be too clingy. She didn't want to chase him off and she wasn't one of those girlfriends who constantly badgered him at every moment, she didn't mind if he went off to do things, she enjoyed spending time with him and she enjoyed when he spoiled her but she didn't make him revolve around her and it was hard to do that, she worked hard. Even though they had been dating for such a short amount of time, he was the only stability she had actually had in her whole life. Yeah she had material things but her life sucked until he came in it. She hated Fenrir forcing her to leave with him but hadn't he then she wouldn't have met Wilberforce. So what was this going to change? Could she let him go if that was his wish? Well obviously she would have no choice but she didn't know if she could fare. A tear slid down her cheek and her hand came up to rub it away as she heard her name spoken.
"Will, can we just leave it?" She asked in a breathy whisper. "Just for now?" But if not now, when? When she couldn't fit in her clothes anymore? She didn't want him to hate her, but what if no matter what he did? Another breath was taken and this time when it released, it was shaky.
"I've been... feeling weird. Fenrir knows something is..." She cut herself off, closing her eyes. She was terrified of Fenrir, here she was a pureblood, unwed, pregnant. He could smell the changes of her hormones and he brought that to her attention, though he didn't seem to take notice of a pregnancy yet, what if he didn't approve? She suddenly felt faint which made her grab to the sink to become more stable and thankfully, as always, Will seemed to be there and helped her back to the table where she sat and just held her head in her hands.
