With the list of people who seemed to be filing into the room, it seemed Jill had every right to be suspicious. The first man who walked in she did not recognize… but just the way he looked at them gave her a reason to be wary. Her blue eyes followed his figure as he walked across the room, keeping an even stare on her and her companions.
But the next man who walked in… Jill felt her entire body stiffen as a scowl came to her lips and her eyes narrowed into a glare. What was he doing here? This was definitely some sort of a trap… It became especially clear by the smug and arrogant way that her former captain had walked into the room. Jill had taken comfort in knowing that the man who had betrayed them was dead, but when Chris had previously informed her that Wesker was indeed alive, all such feelings were terminated. She wanted him dead almost as badly as Chris did. That bastard was the reason so many of their comrades had died…
Her attention was momentarily removed from the blonde to the next person who walked into the room. Nicholai Ginovaef. Jill instantly recognized him, though she thought he died in Raccoon City… Her teeth gritted tightly together at the sight of the horrible man who suddenly went off yelling something in Russian and pulled out his knife. Though the weapon was not pointed directly at her, Jill’s body still went into defense mode, ready at any moment to leap from her chair. Apparently the ‘no weapons’ rule did not apply to all… which didn’t look good for her and her comrades.
The man who was already in the room when they arrived had gone to calm the Russian, but Jill was too pre-occupied with what was now happening before her. She already knew of the deep loathing and personal hatred Chris felt for Wesker, as well as his infamous temper, which was now bringing him up onto the table. On instinct, Jill rose from her seat. “Chris!” she was about to stop him, only for the sheer fact that they were clearly being setup. If Nicholai had a weapon on him, who’s to say Wesker didn’t? And she already knew they were all without arms… But Barry had beat her to the punch, which was probably for the better as he was a large and much stronger man and more able to control Chris.
Jill remained standing with her palms resting atop the table. “What is going on she demanded of the other three in the room. She did not like being in a situation where they were forced to discard their weapons, only to be put into a room with known enemies and then not told anything about the situation. She wanted answers, and she wanted them now.
