Wesker's eyes narrowed at HUNK's reference to Ada. He had checked time and time again to ascertain that his lines were clear and untracable. Of course, HUNK (or perhaps even Spencer himself) had managed to locate this particular number. It was time to ditch this phone.
"I'm well aware of what Spencer wishes," Wesker replied curtly. There was no mistaking the venom associated with Spencer's name in his tone.
Wesker knew he was being bated in every sense of the word. Still, despite all of this, he had every intention of answering the summons. Yes, there was the problem that Spencer would consider this a mark of the power he may have believed he still held over Wesker, but perhaps even that could work in his favor. There were, he knew, answers to be had, regardless. It was, as Wesker was certain both Spencer and HUNK were aware, an offer he cold not refuse.
And yet, he said nothing to affirm this, simply leaving his last comment lie and waiting for HUNK's response.
