Astrid was not the maternal sort. She did not heap praise onto her son or check on his well-being, all of which she was vaguely aware of. However, if there was one thing she could have claimed to have done for her son, it was that she had equipped him with a range of skills that would see him well in their line of work. His entrepreneurship had obviously come from the example she had set, and the other more bloody pursuits he had experienced first hand from her side.
But this... Astrid was pleased. There was no denying that as she entered the room, a wide grin to her face. She gave a giddy clap, almost child-like, as she came to stand over the girl in chains. Well--creature.
"We usually have a more delicate hand than this, but we have no need for you once you are dead," Astrid crooned, taking in the sight of the blood with glee. "You have done an excellent job, Kur. There is not a gift in this world that I would want more."
Even Wilhuff's head would not have given her the same satisfaction. "Do you know that Muggles can use teeth to identify a body?" Astrid continued, all amusement replaced with an eerie coolness. "We can't have that."
With a wave of her wand, one by one, Lana's teeth began to rip free of the gums.
