Ever at the Ready - A Torchwood/Doctor Who RPG

While I REALLY hate to do this because you're all great players and awesomely friendly and the game itself is fantastic, but I'm afraid I feel I have to drop out. It's basically a matter of pacing and keeping up with things, namely, that I can't. I've come to face the unfortunate fact that even during my summer break, I cannot maintain play in this game as quickly as everyone else or even as quickly as I'd like for myself.

I'm especially sorry about dropping because I know a lack of Rose will leave several players/characters/storylines in the lurch. It is my sincerest wish that you guys can find a new player for Rose soon.

Hey everyone, as some of you might have noticed, we mods have been a little...not here I think is a good word? But, um yeah...I've been busy with my last few weeks of college, so I've been drowning in papers and projects galore. Next week is finals, so I probably won't be around much until after that. I've also gotten myself a job, so I won't be as active as I normally would be during the summer, but I'll try my best.

Hi, everyone! I'm Lindsay and I'm bringing you Torchwood Three resident Gwen Cooper! Just a quick intro - I've been RPing for a long time (odds are some of us have crossed paths at one time or another! haha), and I've played in a couple of Doctor Who/Torchwood type games - this is the first time I'm playing Gwen.

Basically, this is Gwen from the beginning of Series Two - she's engaged to Rhys, but hasn't taken the plunge yet. She's totally committed to her job with Torchwood and hasn't set a date yet - which doesn't please Rhys. Everything else is basically the same and I would love to chat with some of you so I can get an idea about the timeline and where Gwen would fit into the scheme of things.

Hey everyone. Beth here. I'm sorry I haven't been attentive lately. I've been super duper busy with the last few weeks of school and work and chorus and family stuff and blah, blah, blah. I'm still going to be just a bit preoccupied with school (finals are this weekend) until I move back to my parents' house for the summer. I will be back to having free time and energy by next Thursday at the latest.

Just a quick note to say I am still here and to apologise for my dropped thread. I've not been feeling very creative really so I've hardly been RPing and this week is pretty busy for me but I will be back next week and posting again.

I've also recently picked Martha up, now I know she was in game before so is there anything I should know about or can I just bring her in afresh?

Okay, seeing as E@tR has two Jacks. Harkness and Kingsington whenever someone does a post or something of the sort for the Jacks, if they could put JK for Kingsington then that would be great. Or Jackie. Whichever works for me. That way there's no confusion.

So anyway I <3 you all. You know that much, rights? I know that much, for sure. You all know that I'm legally insane right? And if not where have you been living? Under a rock? I'm done. Finished with creating pups naos that I've reached max capacity.

I bring two kiddies into the madness. And one of them is mad. The other is just hyper. But he makes it work somehow amongst the...madness? I dunno. He's banned from the pixie sticks, officially. Enough with the babbling correct?

Kale Williams (this journal). His surname look familiar? Well that's because it is. He's fallen from the rift and is the future child of Adrian Williams and Aeryn; he's a Torchwood member Three member and the youngest of the Williams clan. He has a twin sissy who might be joining soon. He's also an alien/human hybrid who gets in as much trouble as his father does.

Tristan Jones-Harkness (theforgottenson). He's Rae's twin brother from...the future (DUH). But instead of being raised with his aunt Martha he was raised by currently an unnamed enemy of Torchwood; raised to 'destroy' them. It's not working out so good. Since he'd much rather be working in a bakery in New York with his wife, Grace, who doesn't know the truth about his origins. He's going to be falling through the rift ALONG with Kale. ;)

Any plotting ideas, RP plans, I CALL HIM BEYOTCHES...ideas. Just talk to be luvs. XD

*waves* Hey, I'm new here so thought I should probably introduce myself before I start playing.

I'm Kate, I live in the UK and I bring The Rani in her second incarnation, shortly after her first regeneration. She's still very much the Rani as shown in canon, but a little nicer, well if she wants something she's nicer at least.

I should be introing her into the game pretty soon, I'm just trying to work out how. She's incredibly open for plotting so if you'd like to do anything with her just let me know.

Okay, tis the Raven again. Now though I bring you Jack Kingsington. Yes, this is THAT baby!Jack. The kid that Dalton is at the moment pregnant with. *pets the Steven Strait PB* Which means I'll be dragging him through the rift. heh Me and aliens, it figures. After all my Aerrie is an alien and now Jackie boy here is a hybrid.

Either way here is baby!Jack for everyone's amusement and love. :)

Okay, I am the Raven. If it weren't for my Sammy I wouldn't of been dragged into here. heh I bring you Aeryn. An alien who happens to be a hunter. She's persuing a certain parasite for killing her twin brother and she's definitely not a happy girl. Anything else about the little firecracker will more than likely come out in game.

Alright. So I'm back from the dead with FRIENDS. Or a friend and than I dragged my Dean here. How awesome am I? Wanna know how awesome? Well...you can't. I'm indescribably AWESOME! *WINZ*

So I bringth back to the insanity Adrian Williams (chuminthewater) and a newbie to the Torchwood craziness: Dalton Kingsington (notinsane) Add them both or just add him to your flists. Since we already knew crazy Addie I feel no need to introduce him. Dalton...on the other hand...is very much the polar opposite of Addie.

Dalt's a genius. Genius as in...actual genius. He's not so proud of his IQ because he's not one to go announcing it all over the place. He sort of grew up getting spoilt and what not. But he's really...a loner. He's dealt with a lot of shit growing up, including witnessing a weevil kill his friends, and because of that...he's been in a mental institution since he was 16 and has been working at Torchwood 2 for a year before...he's been transferred to Torchwood 4.

And...that's about it. Plot, play, random chat HIT ME UP!!!! :D

Sorry I've been slow the last couple of days. My homework piled up, and now that I'm finally finished and turned it all in, I seem to be having some type of allergic reaction. And I hate hives. I'm going to work on catching up, but I may be slow with replies.
