So this Asylum has been dead for the time being. Now that Evanescence is releasing a new Album, things might be a little different. Their new Album, The Opened Door, is to be released October 3rd. To listen to their new song go to Evanescence.com. It's called "Call me When you're Sober"

The Grammy nominations were just announced, and Evanescence notches a nomination in the Best Pop Performance (Duo or Group) category for "My Immortal." Speaking of awards, don't forget that Evanescence performs live tomorrow night at the at the 2004 Billboard Awards - tune in Wednesday night 12/8 at 8pm ET on Fox!

Got this from the Evanescence e-news today.
Hey Evanescence Fans,
For months you've asked about it, wondered about it, and pretty much demanded it. Well your pleas have been answered!
On November 23rd, Evanescence will release their two-disc DVD/CD set entitled "anywhere but home." Directed by Hamish Hamilton (U2, Peter Gabriel), "anywhere but home" features an entire live set from The Zenith in Paris, filmed and recorded in astounding 5.1 Surround Sound. In addition, the DVD includes the band's four music videos ("Bring Me To Life", "Going Under", "My Immortal," and "Everybody's Fool,"), an hour-long behind the scenes program and hidden surprises! The CD will also include the previously unreleased studio recording of "Missing." Visit Evanescence.com in the upcoming weeks for more info as it becomes available.
In other news, Evanescence has been nominated in the Favorite Band, Duo or Group - Pop and Rock category for the 2004 American Music Awards. The show airs Nov. 14th at 8pm ET / 7pm CT on ABC. Be sure that you and all your friends vote for the band for the T-Mobile Text-In Award also.

"Wash it all Away" By: Evanescence |

Last night I was downloading songs and came across a song called "You" By Evanescence. From what I heard this song was recalled by the band before it was released on any disc. They wanted everyone who had it to distory it. I was Surprised to have found it. It is different from their other songs. It's not as choaic as most of them. Not as dark. But more like a Desire. Like Amy was in love when she decide to write the song. It was really corny but Great. As good as "My Immortal."
That's all for now. Don't really know what they recalled it.

Can you believe that Evanescence released another CD before "Fallen." They have tons of songs out there and even some that only the band it self keep to themselves. I have most of them so I'm good. But I know I am still missing some.

Oh man! Evanescence is coming to the TD Waterhouse. They're SO freaking close. They will be performing in Orland, Florida! I MUST go. Although I don't know that way. I'll search for it. I would love to see them in concert.

:) Hello. I'm one of those fans who can play their CD Fallen over and over again and not get bored. Go me.
My favorites of their songs would have to be Tourniquet, Haunted and Imaginary. Tourniquet has alot to do with my atheism, and cause my dad can be such an ass and freak out about my lack of religion, I play that song to irritate him if he decides to bug me. *snicker* Imaginary has some beautiful lyrics, and that song has alot to do with the world in my mind I built to escape when people would treat me like dirt.
I love how realistic their music is. It isn't a bunch of pop cheesy love songs, its something you can relate too. I sing their songs great too, which is even better, because they express alot about my voice.
This is the first time my first post in a community has actually be more than a few sentences. Its hard to come up with a first post.
