If Lucifer recognized the tone of her suggestion, he ignored it, instead walking toward the room until she spoke up again.
"Thank you," he said, turning around. "I am being proactive because why sit around and wait for new directions to appear at dawn. Do you know how much of my extremely long life has been spent merely following directions? With brief interludes here and there, of course," he added with a smirk.
Glancing at the bell, he shrugged. "Guess I'm done with this," he mused, tossing it over his shoulder directly toward room seven. It clanged all the way there before landing beside the door.
