Wanda had to stifle a laugh as the man fell to the ground. It wasn't kind of her to laugh, but something about the way he had flailed about had been pretty hilarious. Still, she managed to maintain her composure and hopefully her anonymity. The last thing she wanted was for someone to get upset with her over what amounted to a harmless prank. Perhaps she was being reckless, using her powers in this way, but it was certainly easier than tying shoelaces together by hand. And, in any case, whatever power kept them here had suppressed her powers before. If it did not want her to use them, it simply would have done so again.
She was startled when the man began looking around, seemingly more amused by his plight than angry or irritated. She hadn't expected that. Of course, it could be a ruse. A way to trick her into revealing herself. But maybe he was just the sort of person who could see the humor in the situation.
She waited until he was looking in his direction and gave a little wave. "Hello," she said, just loud enough for him to hear her.
