Richie winced a little, since it looked like he was about to get clocked in the head with a book of all things (it was tall, dark, and broody in the library with the dictionary, that should be the next Clue piece) - but then maybe the guy decided that it wasn't worth the effort to curbstomp a four-eyed nerd who was fucking freezing. Not surprising. Clues tended to turn up in odd spots, when people were looking for them or even not looking for them. All part of the fun around here.
