Gretel hiccuped out an embarrassing noise that nobody but Hansel would ever here and leaned into her brother's chest, gripping hard. "Okay. Good, fuck, I wasn't sure if you'd turn up or not, there's so many people and they're all..."
She had no idea how to describe anybody, but an alarming number of them kept talking about powers and that just had her hackles up. So she'd been avoiding them for the most part.
"I don't know where we are... and I haven't seen Ben or Edward." If Edward was here? Someone would've noticed the troll by now and started screaming, probably. She would assume, anyway. Gathering composure in both hands, Gretel peeled herself off of Hansel and straightened up, tucking errant strands of hair behind her ear. Her braid was going to hell, which inevitably happened when she got frazzled. "This house is like a cage and someone's dragged in dozens of people. I don't know how... and I don't know who they are. But nobody's figured out how to leave yet."
