They'd been something she did just for herself, hadn't intended them to be seen by anyone. But with Markus asking, it was difficult to say no. She really had no good reason to hide them at all. "I like to think I've developed my own... style," she frowned, staring down at her drawing, suddenly a bit self-conscious of it as well. Was it lacking something she couldn't see? She knew Markus wasn't implying anything outright, but there had been something he said before during their conversation about her attempting to teach Klaus how to paint, and her inquiring upon his skill being something self-learned or programmed.
"You... said before, you liked you think you were capable of painting from the soul," she reminded him, even though she knew he'd be able to recall their conversation just as well. Her grip on the pen tightened slightly. She didn't really want to tell him that she doubted she even had a soul. That wasn't where she wanted this moment to go, but she sighed, didn't know where to take it instead. "I guess I'm just not that creative," she settled on instead.
